新加坡國(guó)際商會(huì)與新政府部的關(guān)系比較密切，是政府有關(guān)部了解 新加坡國(guó)際投資及日本地企業(yè)利益和需求的重要渠道，不僅代表 商界利益為政府制定政策、完善規(guī)定提出意見和建議，還經(jīng)常就 企業(yè)關(guān)切和發(fā)展中遇到的問題向政府提出申述。此外，保護(hù)和擴(kuò) 大會(huì)員企業(yè)的商業(yè)利益、為會(huì)員企業(yè)提供貿(mào)易和投資咨詢等也是 該商會(huì)的重要職能。新加坡國(guó)際商會(huì)分行業(yè)設(shè)立了銀行金融、運(yùn) 輸物流、國(guó)際貿(mào)易、工業(yè)企業(yè)、房地產(chǎn)業(yè)、石油能源、通訊技術(shù)、教育和列名企業(yè)等九個(gè)委員會(huì)，負(fù)責(zé)日常跟蹤了解行業(yè)情況，匯總行業(yè)信息數(shù)據(jù)，組織與相關(guān)政府部和行業(yè)組織的聯(lián)席會(huì)議等 工作。
